CLA is an English language school in the fascinating Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi. There is a place for creativity and self-expression. English is here for life. With and for development.
Now we are actively working – in the morning as volunteers, in the evening as English teachers. We also built a bomb shelter on the basis of our school to help people from other regions. We are developing our country because, thank God, we have the opportunity and the great honor to help Ukraine.

Hello! My name is Kateryna Khudyk and I am a master trainer of the British Council in Ukraine and co-founder of the CLA foreign language center. Since my student years I dreamed of creating a new generation school with the most modern teaching methods. I wanted to combine complex grammar and interesting games, listening to podcasts and real-life situations, vocabulary cards and soft skills development in one place. And I succeeded! I know from my own experience that responsibility and stress resistance are the keys to successful work. Therefore, these qualities have become decisive for me and can best describe my approach to work! I always treat any task responsibly and try to perform it 100%. I am able to rationally manage my time and use every minute effectively. Critical thinking and analytics are my best friends that help not only in work but also in life. I always appreciate the team spirit in the team, because I believe that only by joint efforts we can achieve great results.
I believe that the main element of any industry is people. Or rather, a team of happy like-minded people whose goal is to create and develop a space where it is easy to learn, both for adults and children. I myself treat everyone with the maximum respect and understanding and therefore closely support this mood in our company. This is the factor that makes our school so special. I come from a dynasty of teachers, so there were no problems with the choice of profession. I devoted my whole life to education: I started as a teacher of mathematics and physics, and later continued in various senior positions in the field of education in Bukovyna. I am the winner of the Chernivtsi Regional Award named after Omelian Popovych and the Chernivtsi City Award named after Yuriy Fedkovych. I am also a master-trainer of heads of general secondary education institutions on the implementation of the "New Ukrainian School", worked as a member of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the implementation of teachers' certifications, a joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine on the development and implementation of the "Framework for Continuing Professional Development of Teachers". My life credo: "Drink the balm of wisdom, the cocktail of creativity, the coffee of vigor, the decoction of punctuality, the infusion of tolerance, the extract of humanity Do it all carefully and you will be forever young" Now I enjoy working as a volunteer at CLA. And I am really glad that I work with a large, progressive, creative, unbiased team of teachers. After all, the future belongs to the young!

Hello, everyone! My name is Amina! Our history with the school began a long time ago - I started learning English with Kateryna Georgievna. And in a few years I turned from a diligent student into a full-time marketer. Hello. I'm Katya, an English teacher at CLA!) English has been my favorite subject since school, but the real fall in love happened when I started taking extra classes with a tutor. With every new topic, with every stage, I realized that this is my field and I really want to connect my life with it. Now I help children fall in love with my subject, as it happened to me once. I help students to be confident in their abilities in learning the language and not be afraid to make mistakes. Hello, everybody! My name is Nadiia. Being a teacher is my vocation! Since the age of 15 I knew that I would be a teacher, but I did not know what exactly I wanted to teach. There were many thoughts, I hesitated between German and English, because I studied two languages at school, but fate decided everything for me when in the 8th grade I had to choose one language to study and all my classmates unanimously voted for English. I was left without a choice, but I do not regret it, because in fact it was the best decision. English is the top language that everyone wants to learn now. I first started teaching when I was in my second year of university. My students were mostly children of 6-7 years old and teenagers. I have never taught adults, but since starting to work at CLA, my teaching experience has grown and now most of my students are adults 30+.
